A lightweight black satin cropped fitting jacket with a 2-way YKK zipper and 2 front pockets released in the late 90s. Featuring a super interesting scaled pleat pattern all over that resembles snakeskin.
The process of pleating becomes very time consuming with designs like this, as the moulds used to set the patterns in place are often handmade out of wood (especially in this time period), the garment/fabric is then sandwiched in place and steamed to take the snakeskin pattern.
