A super wide and cropped cut heavyweight washed twill cotton 80s jacket from the Japanese brand Pink House. Featuring 2 large 3D pockets that hang over the ribbed cuff, these both have the letter ‘P’ printed on them, on the left pocket this is mirrored. This also has a bomber style sleeve pocket, orange zippers and is quilt lined throughout.

As with many of these old Japanese brands there isn't a great deal of info available on them, but this is what I could find: Pink House first came into fruition in Tokyo 1973, which is when the designers began experimenting with this style of clothing and even opened a short-lived store in 1979. The brand was officially launched 9 years later in 1982 by Isao Kaneko and in the coming years became massively popular with the women of Japan. Throughout the brand's years its main focus has been on womenswear, but in the 80s had a short stretch of making menswear, it is unknown why exactly they stopped producing men's clothing. But this led Isao Kaneko to create a separate brand in the mid-80s that could focus solely on menswear, as Pink House had quickly become known as a women's-oriented brand. Karl Helmut was this brand, although this seems to be more of a line than a whole separate brand, as they have kept the main design elements from Pink House. Both brands still exist today, but the recent clothing seems to be nowhere near as well-made/designed as the old stuff.
