Halb is a Japanese based brand derived from the already established brand Tete Homme, which was founded in 1981 by Kazutaka Katoh. In 2002 Yuji Kobayashi was assigned the task of launching Halb, until 2005 when he had a change in career path and left. Kiminori Morishita, who had already been working as an assistant for Kazutaka, took over as creative director of Halb in 2005. Prior to this Kiminori had worked for Tete Homme since 1986 and became the lead designer for them in 1998. Until 2002 when he began his own label which managed to get some worldwide traction between this time and 2005 when he began at Halb. In 2009 Kiminori decided to become independent to focus more on his own brand and in 2014 Halb stopped production and merged back into Tete Homme, which is still going today.
A pair of 16 pocket wide leg cargos from the mid 2000s whilst Kiminori Morishita was creative director. These feature 2 adjustable harnesses on both legs, this is to make them slightly shorter in length and to create a flare. The ones wrapping around the legs are adjusted by a very small buckle and the straps that run vertically down the outseam over the pockets are adjusted by a knot. The leg openings can be made even wider by using the 2 hidden snap fasteners.
